      Fulton man runs from police, crashes car into trailer

      Travis M. Schroer was arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase and crashing his car into a trailer.



      A Fulton man was arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase and crashing his car into a trailer.


      Just before 2:00 a.m. Wednesday, Fulton police attempted to stop a car driven by Travis M. Schroer in the 800 block of Court Street. He refused to stop and led officers on a chase through Fulton. Schroer crashed his car into a trailer in the 200 block of W. 6th Street. He then fled on foot and was taken into custody a few blocks away.


      Schroer was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident and driving in a careless and imprudent manner. Schroer was taken to the Callaway County Jail on a bond of $7000.
