Four-wheeler collision with SUV claims the life of a Jamestown man

A Jamestown man is dead after his four-wheeler collided with an SUV Thursday morning.

According to the MIssouri State Highway Patrol, 72-year-old Raymond Varner was driving westbound on a 1999 Honda TRX ATV on Highway 87 at Business Highway 50 in California around 8:30 a.m.

A 2007 Saturn Outlook driven by 38-year-old Amy Miller of Russellville was traveling northbound. Varner made a right hand turn on Hwy 87, causing a collision with Miller's vehicle. Varner was thrown from the four-wheeler and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Miller suffered minor injures.
