Four people were arrested after a shooting incident on East Dunklin Street on Monday afternoon.
Jefferson City Police received several calls about shots being fired around 12:45 p.m. Monday.
A passing motorist called 9-1-1 and gave police a description of the suspect holding the handgun.
That lead officers to arrest four people.
One person was arrested for resisting arrest and obstructing an investigation.
A 16-year-old juvenile was taken into custody for the unlawful use of a weapon and resisting arrest.
Two others face charges for burglary and resisting arrest.
Police have not released their names.
