      Four injured in Jefferson City rollover accident

      Four people were injured in a rollover accident Saturday evening in Jefferson City.

      Four people are being treated for injuries sustained in a rollover accident Saturday evening in Jefferson City.

      Jefferson City Police say 26-year-old Ernest McCoy was driving southbound on Ellis Porter Drive around 5:30 p.m. when he ran off the side of the road, hit the curb, went down an embankment then hit a tree.

      The car then rolled over onto its roof.

      McCoy and three passengers were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

      There were a total of five people in the vehicle at the time. Police say none were wearing seatbelts.
