Former deputy arrested on federal charges, case transferred to Missouri
CHARLESTON, S.C. —
A federal judge Wednesday committed a former Camden County deputy into the Western District of Missouri for his federal charges.
Leonard Wilson had already been charged by the State of Missouri with possession of child pornography, fourth-degree child molestation, furnish pornographic material or attempt to furnish to a minor and second-degree stalking.
Federal court indicted him December 21 with counts of distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography.
He was arrested Monday in Charleston County, South Carolina. Wilson had a detention hearing Wednesday, in which his case was transferred to the charging district, the Western District of Missouri.
