Five Jefferson City residents arrested during possible burglary in progress

Five Jefferson City residents were arrested Sunday afternoon during a possible burglary in progress and a disturbance.
Mon, 20 May 2013 16:18:04 GMT — Five Jefferson City residents were arrested Sunday afternoon during a possible burglary in progress and a disturbance.Police responded to a call at the 800 block of Monroe just after 1pm. At least one of those at the scene, Cameron Jackson-Bey, 21, was a suspect. While police were arresting Jackson-Bey, four others on the scene approached officers, yelling obscenities and making threats. While the four suspects closed in on officers, they were sprayed with pepper mace and also taken into custody.Cameron Jackson-Bey faces charges of 1st Degree Burglary, 3rd Degree Domestic Assault, and Stealing . The four additional suspects were Kayla Kennemore, 18, Aaron Burns, 17, Senesha Hickman, 19, and 22-year-old Quinton Hickman and they were charged with interfering with arrest, failure to obey a police officer, and resisting arrest. No officers were hurt during the disturbance.
