Five arrested after robbery near Douglass High School

Orlando Turner was arrested for second degree robbery.

Four men and a teen were arrested after allegedly robbing a man near Douglass High School in Columbia Wednesday night.

At about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to the area of 310 North Providence Road which is Douglass High School.

A man told police he was assaulted and robbed by five males.

He told police his wallet was stolen.

Officers found five males near Grand Avenue and Forest Avenue.

The victim positively identified the suspects and surveillance video from the area matched the description as well.

Walter Nash, 18, Orlando Turner, 20, Larry Brownlee, 18 and Randy Bland, 19 were arrested for second degree robbery, along with a 16-year-old.
