Update: Monday, July 18 at 6:40 p.m.:
Nina Hoskins now faces a felony charge for the incident in Harrisburg.
The charge reads "receiving stolen property (valued at $500 or more) OR dealer in specific goods OR explosive weapon."
Photos and Facebook helped nab a woman suspected of stealing a cell phone.
Boone County deputies arrested Nina Hoskins, 25, of Hallsville. They didn TMt have to go far to find her. She already was in the Boone County Jail after Columbia police arrested her on unrelated charges of receiving stolen property.
Deputies believe Hoskins was involved in several vehicle break-ins on Highway 124 West in the Harrisburg area late Saturday night.
The sheriff TMs department received six reports. Items stolen included a GPS device, loose change, a wallet and a cell phone.
That cell phone helped track down the suspect.
Deputies say Hoskins used the cell phone to take pictures, which were then automatically sent to the victim TMs Facebook account.
Using that information, deputies arrested Hoskins.
She TMs in jail on $18,000 bond. So far prosecutors have not filed charges for either incident.
