Drug investigation turns up crystal meth and four arrests

Joshua Martin was arrested in Osage County for possession of a controlled substance

Four people were arrested after a drug investigation in Osage County.

On June 10 at about 10:30 p.m. the Osage County Sheriff's Office and the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group conducted a narcotics related investigation at a home in the 1100-block of Adams Street in Linn.

Authorities had been conducting an in-depth investigation over the period of several days.

During the investigation investigators found several individual bags containing suspected crystal methamphetamine that appeared to be packaged for sale at the home.

They also found about $1900 in cash, three guns and suspected drug paraphernalia.

Adam Duppong, 33, of Jefferson City, Joshua Martin, 29, of Linn, Kassie Burnett, 20, of Linn and Heather Martin, 31, of Linn were each arrested on June 11 at about 1:30 a.m. for possession of a controlled substance.

Their bonds are each set at $10,000.

The four are also under investigation for distribution of a controlled substance.
