      Drowning in Lake of the Ozarks

      According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man jumped in after something that had fallen in the water.

      A Texas man is dead after he jumped in the water at the Lake of the Ozarks Sunday.

      The Missouri State Highway Patrol says about 12:55 p.m, they responded to the three-mile-mark at Glen Cove.

      Officers say 60-year-old David Wilson of Corinth, Texas jumped in the water to get something that had fallen in.

      After he swam a short distance, Wilson went under water. He briefly resurfaced, but went under again. His body was later recovered.
