Fri, 14 Jun 2013 15:35:50 GMT — A Dairy Queen owner in Camdenton faces felony charges after allegedly touching his employee inappropriately. On June 4 at about 7:30 p.m. a 14-year-old Dairy Queen employee of the North Highway 5 location in Camdenton reported the owner of the ice-cream shop, 67-year-old Dennis â??Dennyâ?? Purdy touched her inappropriately. The teen went to Kids Harbor for an exam and interview later that day. During an interview, the girl told investigators Purdy, who was a family friend and her employer at Dairy Queen, regularly grabs and touches her inappropriately, telling her she has a nice body, according to the probable cause statement. She told authorities on June 4, Purdy told her to go to the basement in Dairy Queen. The girl did as she was told since she sometimes has to go down there to get food and didn't think anything of the request. According to the statement, while in the basement, Purdy pushed the teen up against the wall, touched her inappropriately. She told investigators when she tried to leave Purdy pushed her back against the wall, shoved her head into the wall and bit her near the shoulder. During an interview with investigators on June 11, Purdy denied having inappropriate contact with the girl but admitted to being alone with her in the basement. The next day, Purdy told authorities the contact between him and his employee was consensual. Purdy is charged with f orcible sodomy, deviate sexual intercourse by forcible compulsion, second-degree statutory sodomy and sexual abuse.
