A woman is in Pulaski County Jail awaiting formal charges for allegedly stabbing a man during a domestic disturbance.
According to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department, a male caller told emergency services around 10 p.m. Saturday that he had just been stabbed and needed help.
Emergency crews arrived at the home on Taylor Lane and found the 31-year-old Waynesville man with stab wounds.
Involved parties told authorities that a domestic dispute between the couple led to a physical altercation, which led to the stabbing.
The victim is recovering from surgery at a Springfield hospital and is listed in stable condition.
The woman was arrested at the scene. Her name has not yet been released.
