Divers search for drowning victim in "Party Cove"

Update Friday 8:45 pm:
The victim has been identified as 30 year old Justin Byrd of Englewood, Colorado. The patrol's report indicates his body has been recovered. Witnesses say Byrd fell off the back of the boat, but no one realized he was missing for five minutes. This is the first drowning in the Troop F area this month and the third this year.
Another man drown on July 4th. 18 year old Joshua Washington drown in Table Rock Lake after trying to help others in the water. Washington is from Republic, Mo.
The Missouri Highway Patrol is searching for the body of a person who fell off a boat docked in the â??Party Coveâ?? at the Lake of the Ozarks. The search began about 4:35pm Friday July 4, in the Glaize Arm of the lake at the 4 mile marker.
Sgt. Randy Henry of the patrolâ??s marine division says they are working to notify the family and could say only that the victim is not from Missouri.
As of 7:00pm, 5 troopers were on scene with some using sonar in their search. Their efforts were being assisted by divers from the Lake Ozark Fire and Rescue squad and Osage Beach Fire Department.
