Wed, 05 Mar 2014 11:42:38 GMT — The warming trend for Mid-MO will hit a bit of a road block today. A weak clipper system will throw a cold front through the area, keeping our temperatures about 5-10 degrees below normal. Morning lows were cold, but not too bad, in the 20s and 30s. That clipper, which is an area of low pressure, may produce a few flurries and drizzle north of I-70 through the day. Most of us won't see any precipitation thanks to dry air. Under mostly cloudy skies, highs will top out near 40 degrees.Clouds will linger overnight and temperatures will be cold for Thursday morning. After waking up in the lower 20s, the 40s for will greet us for the afternoon. A big warm up comes our way to close out the week.Follow the KRCG 13 StormVision Weather Team for the latest updates.
