Mon, 25 Aug 2014 11:47:27 GMT — The hot weather continues for at least part of this week. High temperatures for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will remain more than 10 degrees above normal in the mid-upper 90s. The heat index for those days will be between 100 and 110 degrees. A stalled cold front will bring a chance of spotty storms each day starting Tuesday. Those rain chances may provide brief relief from the heat. Cooler weather will finally be here by the weekend.A heat advisory remains in effect until at least Tuesday for part of the viewing area. Make sure to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks if you're going to be outdoors. Sunstroke, muscle cramps and heat stroke are all possible with these conditions. Be sure to keep an eye on pets, young children and the elderly as well.Follow the KRCG 13 StormVision Weather Team for the latest updates. www.connectmidmissouri.com/weather
