Crews work to clean up Lake-area storm damage

The Lake of the Ozarks area was damaged during Monday night's storms.

Lake Ozark Fire Chief Mark Amsinger said they have had downed trees, branches and power lines.

He said crews are out cleaning up the mess, but so far there have been no reports of property damage.

In Osage Beach, they were also cleaning up downed trees and limbs.

At about noon on Tuesday, there are 81 Ameren customers without power in Camden, Miller and Morgan Counry.

Co-Mo Electric, based in Tipton, was down to 1,873 outages at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Residents have reported outages in Ivy Bend, Versailles, Sedalia and many other mid-Missouri communities.
