Court records: Man rams vehicle off road, shoots at driver

The Phelps County prosecutor charged a 30-year-old man with armed criminal action and assault among other charges.
According to court records, Phelps County sheriff’s deputies said on July 13, about 5:30 p.m. Bryan Curtis rammed another man’s vehicle with his truck while driving in the 23000 block of Highway K.
When both vehicles came to a stop, Curtis allegedly stepped out of his truck and fired several rounds from his .22 pistol into the victims, while the victim sat in the driver’s seat.
Curtis reportedly fired seven shots through the windshield and one of the bullets hit the dashboard in front of the victim.
The prosecutor charged Curtis with first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
