A convicted Jefferson City felon was arrested after a traffic stop in Maries County.
A sheriff's deputy stopped 41-year-old David Rapier on Highway 63 near Vichy and found several bags of suspected methamphetamine, cocaine and items used to sell the drugs.
Rapier was arrested for the drug violations.
He has several felony convictions and it currently on probation for drug violations.
He was taken to the Maries County Jail pending formal charges.
