Committee investigating Gov. Greitens holds fourth closed hearing

The special committee investigating Governor Greitens held its fourth hearing at the Jefferson City Police Department Wednesday morning.

The hearing began at 8 a.m. and committee members remained silent about the investigation.

The hearing lasted four and a half hours.

A dark SUV escorted by an officer entered the sally port 15 minutes before the hearing was scheduled to begin. However, it was unknown if the vehicle was carrying a witness.

A grand jury in St. Louis indicted Governor Greitens on a felony invasion of privacy charge in February. He was accused of taking a compromising photograph of a woman with whom he was having an affair without her permission in 2015. Greitens denied any criminal wrongdoing.
