A 51-year-old Columbia woman is dead after colliding with an SUV while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon in Boone County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 1:40 p.m.
Highway Patrol says 66-year-old Michael Brooks, also of Columbia, was on the exit ramp from I-70 to Route Z. After coming to a stop, Brooks then failed to yield to Lynelle Pace, who was riding a motorcycle.
Authorities say Brooks pulled into Pace's path, Pace hit the SUV and was thrown from her motorcycle.
She was pronounced dead just before 2:15 p.m. at University Hospital.
