Columbia Police investigating east campus burglaries

Thu, 21 Nov 2013 19:43:54 GMT — The Columbia Police Department is investigating several burglaries in the east campus and downtown area. The CPD believes these incidents may be related.The latest break-in occurred in the 600 block of South Williams Street on November 17, and the first of the connected burglaries goes back to June 29th. Both incidents ended with the suspect waking up a sleeping victim and then running away.The police describe the suspect as a white or possibly "middle-easternâ?? male, 20â??s, medium to thin build, and medium height. He has been described as having a heavy accent.
