Columbia man sentenced for trying to solicit 14-year-old

Dierker pleaded guilty in February of 2014 to Attempted Sexual Misconduct involving a Child and Attempted Statutory Sodomy in the Second Degree.
Mon, 21 Apr 2014 19:45:31 GMT — A former Columbia resident was sentenced to four years in prison for trying to solicit a 14-year-old boy.The investigation into Shaun Michael Dierker started in December of 2012, when he started an e-mail conversation with a person he thought was a Boone County teenager. It was actually a detective with the Boone County Sheriff's Department Cyber Crimes Task Force.Dierker sent sexually explicit photos of himself and then arranged to meet the decoy teenager at a fast food restaurant. That's where he was arrested by members of the Cyber Crimes Task Force and Boone County deputies.He pleaded guilty in February of 2014 to Attempted Sexual Misconduct involving a Child and Attempted Statutory Sodomy in the Second Degree.
