Wed, 12 Mar 2014 15:53:47 GMT — A Columbia man was arrested Tuesday morning after threatening people with a gun. Columbia Police said Larry Brownlee Jr. pulled a gun on two people walking near the intersection of Sexton and McBaine. Police said the two walking knew Brownlee. Officers found 19-year-old Brownlee walking near the 400 block of Oak Street. Officers then found a small loaded handgun in the backyard of 404 Oak Street and said Brownlee had crack cocaine. He was arrested for third degree assault, felony unlawful use of weapons and distribution/delivery/manufacture/produce controlled substance. In June 2013 Brownlee was one of five arrested after allegedly assaulting and robbing a man near Douglass High School in Columbia.
