A Columbia man is facing multiple charges after leading a Boone County Sheriff's deputy on a two-county pursuit Saturday night.
Around 10:38 p.m. the deputy noticed a vehicle without any license plates traveling eastbound on Clark Lane near the I-70/Highway 63 interchange.
The deputy tried to pull the vehicle over, but the vehicle fled northbound on Highway 63.
The ensuing pursuit took the deputy into Randolph County, where the vehicle was stopped south of Moberly with the help of Highway Patrol and the Randolph County Sheriff's Department.
The driver, 30-year-old Emmanuel Mitchell, and a passenger surrendered without incident.
Mitchell was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant and also arrested for resisting arrest, driving while his license was revoked and multiple other traffic violations.
His bond is set at $20,199. The passenger was interviewed and released without any charges.
