      Columbia College receives $100,000 gift

      The MFA Foundation's Tradition Meets Tomorrow Campaign gave Columbia College a leadership gift of $100,000
      The MFA Foundation's Tradition Meets Tomorrow Campaign gave Columbia College a leadership gift of $100,000, which will support the college's Summer Expedition program.The Summer Expedition program is a partnership with Columbia Public Schools that exposes potential high-risk students to what college life is like.The gift also will endow scholarships that will be available to students who attend either a Columbia College campus in Missouri or the online campus.

      "I am honored to recognize the significant, continued support of MFA," Dr. Gerald Brouder, Columbia College president, said. "This gift reflects MFA's longstanding philanthropic partnership with Columbia College, which will support our core mission of teaching and our goal to become a model institution."
