Citation for window tinting results in drug bust

Bias said that even though he knows it's illegal, he feels like selling marijuana is better than selling crack or heroin because "that ruins lives".

A Columbia man was arrested after police discovered marijuana and a handgun in his vehicle on Sunday.

20-year-old Brent Bias is charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance, felony possession of a firearm, and a window tint violation.

After pulling Bias over for excessive window tinting, police searched his vehicle and found a large amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a .32 caliber handgun.

After he admitted to selling marijuana, Bias said that even though he knows it's illegal, he feels like it's better than selling crack or heroin because "that ruins lives".

Bias was convicted in 2011 for felony distribution of a controlled substance.
