Chronic DWI offender arrested twice in less than a week
Gregory Billstein was arrested for felony DWI as a chronic offender and for driving with a revoked license.
Tue, 11 Jun 2013 13:22:12 GMT — A repeat drunk driving offender was arrested Monday night in Fulton after crashing his car. Police arrested Gregory Billstein after responding to a crash on Route F and Gaylord Drive. Officers said Billstein drove his car off of Route F, down a grassy hill into a ditch. Billstein was arrested for felony DWI as a chronic offender and for driving with a revoked license. The 48-year-old Columbia man has four convictions for driving while intoxicated and was arrested on June 7, 2013 in St. Louis for a DWI felony as a chronic offender. Billstein currently has two 10-year denials and authorities said he will not be eligible to get his driver's license back until the year 2020. He was taken to the Callaway County Jail with a bond of $10,500.
