An overnight sobriety checkpoint on Highway 40 at Boothe Lane in Columbia resulted in seven arrests, including four for driving while intoxicated.
Other arrests include:
One for driving with a suspended license
One for driving without a valid license
One for possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana
About 100 vehicles were stopped at the checkpoint between 12:49 a.m. and 2:30 a.m.
The Boone County Sheriff's Department, Columbia Police Department and Hallsville Police Department conducted the checkpoint.
