Shawn Gregory is facing domestic assault and armed criminal action charges after shooting Francis Blackwood with a .222 caliber hunting rifle during an argument.
Thu, 18 Jul 2013 19:40:00 GMT — The female victim of a shooting incident in Pulaski County Wednesday afternoon remains hospitalized while recovering from her injuries. The victim, Francis Blackwood, is in critical condition due to a bullet wound to her shoulder and chest.Criminal charges have been filed against 32-year-old Shawn Christopher Gregory for the offenses of domestic assault, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm. Gregory is currently being held in the Pulaski County Jail with a $1 million bond.The shooting occurred Wednesday during a domestic dispute between Gregory and Blackwood, at which time Gregory reportedly pulled a rifle and shot Blackwood. Gregory then fled the scene but soon afterwards surrendered himself to authorities in St. Robert.
