Car crashes through business in Camdenton

Neither the driver of this SUV nor the employee of the Camdenton store it crashed through Friday morning required medical attention.

A Camdenton store clerk was lucky to sustain only minor injuries after being struck by a car that crashed through the front of the store where she works.

According to Camdenton Police, officers were called to The Butcher Shop at Illinois Street and Osage Avenue at about 10:30 Friday morning, where they found a 2006 Toyota Highlander inside the store. The driver, Katherine Rudloff, 69, of St. Louis, told investigators that she had intended to park out front but lost control of her car.

A 20-year-old employee of the store was struck in the legs by the vehicle and also injured by some falling debris, but both she and the driver of the SUV refused medical treatment at the scene.
