A Camdenton woman was rescued after getting trapped in a ravine overnight.

A Camdenton woman is safe tonight after becoming stranded in a log-filled ravine overnight.

Fulton Police responded to a call of a distressed woman lost in the woods off Highway 54 around 1:47 a.m. Sunday.

50-year-old Sydney Foor made the call but could not provide a location because she was lost and disoriented.

Emergency services tracked her cell phone to the area of Highway 54 and Callaway County Road 210.

Fulton Police found Foor, and with the help of the Fulton Fire Department they rescued her from the log-filled ravine she had been trapped in.

Officers found her vehicle about half a mile south of where she had been found.

Police say Foor had been traveling westbound on Highway 54 when her vehicle slid off the road and down an embankment.

Foor was not injured during the incident.
