Burglary call leads to drug arrest

29-year-old Michael Regehr was charged with distribution/delivery/manufacture/production of a controlled substance.

A call for a reported burglary in Camden County led to two arrests Wednesday.

Camden County deputies responded to the 100 block of Highland Glen Court in Camdenton, and while they determined a burglary had not occurred and they found a vehicle with two men inside.

Deputies with the street crimes unit were familiar with the two men, 29-year-old Michael Regehr and 41-year-old Jeffrey Milligan, and conducted a K-9 sniff search of the vehicle.

The K-9 unit alerted the presence of the odor of narcotics and deputies found packaged methamphetamine in the vehicle.

Regehr was charged with distribution/delivery/manufacture/production of a controlled substance. He was released after posting bond.

Milligan was taken into custody on four outstanding warrants and is currently in the Camden County Jail.
