      Boonville man sentenced to prison for child porn

      On Feb. 11, 2013, 34-year-old Paul E. Durham pleaded guilty to attempting to distribute child pornography over the internet.

      A Boonville man is headed to prison for attempting to distribute child pornography over the internet.

      Today in federal court, Paul E. Durham was sentenced to seven years in prison without parole.

      On Feb. 11, 2013, the 34-year-old pleaded guilty to attempting to distribute child pornography over the internet.

      Detectives say in December 2011, Durham's computer was identified as having child pornography available to share online.

      After months of investigation, a search warrant in February of 2012 seized his laptop computer and an external hard drive.

      Detectives found at least 52 images of child pornography and 17 movies of child pornography including one video depicting a young girl engaged in beastiality.
