Searchers have recovered the body of a Waynesville woman missing since Tuesday.
The body of Jessica Lee turned up by a bridge over Roubidoux Creek.
Canine teams from Columbia, attached to Missouri Task Force One, joined the search effort Friday. But it was local firefighters who eventually found Lee's body.
The 23 year-old and her four-year-old son Elyjah were both in a car that was swept off the road near Highway 17 and Route T.
Lee had made a cell phone call for help, but it was too late.
The little boy's body was located later on Tuesday.
