Arrests made in connection to shooting on Eastwood Drive
The Columbia Police Department said two arrests have been made in connection to a shooting on Eastwood Drive.
Thirty-one-year-old Barry Ronell Brown II and 24-year-old Jasmine Ford, both from Columbia, were accused of armed criminal action, first-degree assault, kidnapping, an unlawful use of weapons.
According to officers, they found a blood trail starting from 2607 Eastwood Drive, Building 90 to Building 70, Apartment 75 on that same street. They said they found a large amount of blood and bullet holes outside the apartment.
Officers said Brown reportedly shot the victim after she refused to perform a sex act.
Brown and Ford were residents of the apartment building the crime was committed at, according to officers.
