Another day in the cold

Winter is holding on strong with temperatures remaining below normal for Mid-Missouri. Monday will be a frigid one with morning temperatures in the single digits and wind chills below zero. An upper air disturbance will bring light snow to areas south of Jefferson City. Only a dusting of accumulation is expected. Clouds will linger for the afternoon with sunshine peaking through at times. Highs will remain cold as we try to make it into the middle teens - more than 20 degrees below normal.

We'll see the coldest temperatures of the week tonight! With a few clouds above and the snow still on the ground, lows will fall to near zero with wind chills between 5 and 10 below. Some good news is temperatures will slowly warm up through the entire week and we'll be staying dry.
