Annual 'bulky' item pick up starts Monday in Jeff City

Jefferson City residents will start to see more trash on the curb over the next two weeks.
Fri, 25 Apr 2014 19:08:48 GMT — Jefferson City residents will start to see more trash on the curb over the next two weeks, as part of the annual Citywide Residential Large Bulky Items Pick-up.On Monday, April 28th, trash crews will start on the west side of Jefferson Street. Monday, May 5th will be the east side's turn.Normal trash pickup will be on regularly scheduled days.The city asks that you have items for pickup on the curb by 5 a.m. Monday of the week assigned for your side of town. ã?? Acceptable items:Furniture, large bulky items, televisions, microwaves, tied bundles of scrap material under 4 ft. (bundles that are not tied will not be picked up), mattresses.
