Tue, 11 Mar 2014 12:34:52 GMT — Tuesday is shaping up to be a great day for Mid-Missouri. Temperatures were pleasant during the morning hours in the 40s and 50s with clear skies. Clouds will be on the increase through the day thanks to an approaching low pressure system. That low will help tighten the pressure gradient, which means winds will be strong at times from the south. That should help drive high temperatures close to record levels in the lower 80s.After a pleasant day, a big change is coming for Tuesday night. A strong cold front will set off rain showers late in the evening which will transition to light snow early Wednesday. Thanks to warm ground temperatures, accumulations aren't expected - aside from a dusting on the grass. Winds will be strong as temperatures are in the 30s early Wednesday.Follow the KRCG 13 StormVision Weather Team for the latest updates.
