Mon, 17 Feb 2014 12:36:31 GMT — Roads may be icy for some in Mid-Missouri early Monday thanks to rain showers. A low pressure system over Kansas brought rain as well as a few thunderstorms to the heart of the Show-Me State. With temperatures near or below freezing for our central and north/northeastern counties, rain will likely freeze on contact with the ground. Temperatures should be above freezing across the board by mid-morning with the rain coming to an end shortly after that.Sunshine will take over for the afternoon with highs above normal in the mid-upper 40s. Skies will remain clear overnight dropping temperatures to right around the freezing mark. Sunshine and pleasant highs will be around on Tuesday.Follow the KRCG 13 StormVision Weather Team for the latest updates on winter weather in Mid-Missouri.
