Thu, 15 May 2014 12:39:50 GMT — It's another day with rain moving through Mid-Missouri. Light showers passed through the area early Thursday. Temperatures were running about 10 degrees below normal in the mid 40s. An area of low pressure spinning near Lake Michigan will throw a few disturbances our way over the next 48 hours. With a mix of sun and clouds through the day, scattered showers and a few non-severe thunderstorms will be possible during the afternoon hours - mainly east of Jefferson City. Highs will be in the lower 60s.The rain should come to an end by tonight with clearing skies and cold temperatures. Lows will be nearly 20 degrees below average in the mid-upper 30s for Friday morning. Clouds will build through the day as rain passes to the south of Mid-MO.
