A classic spring day

It was a typical April morning for Mid-Missouri on Thursday. Temperatures were hovering near the seasonal norm in the mid 40s. A weak cold front was sliding through the area helping to bring clouds to the Show-Me State. The clouds will linger for the afternoon as highs reach the upper 50s. There is a slight chance of light rain during the afternoon and evening. Dry air, however, will keep those rain chances relatively isolated.

The chance for rain ends tonight as our skies start to clear. It will be a chilly morning on Friday with temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Sunshine returns as high pressure dominates the region. Highs will be great in the upper 60s.
