Fri, 21 Jun 2013 14:12:29 GMT — A 91-year old Pulaski County man is still in the hospital after being severely beaten during a home invasion robbery last week. The man was alone at his home when several suspects came in and began stealing property. He was then beaten by the suspects while attempting to stop the crime. Pulaski County deputies were called to the scene after an acquaintance discovered the elderly man at his home shortly after the robbery. He was taken to a Springfield hospital, which is where he spent several days in the intensive care unit. Pulaski County Sheriff, Ron Long, said the man's condition is gradually improving, while remaining hospitalized.They are asking for anyone with information concerning this incident to contact their agency at 573-774-6196, or call the tip line at 573-774-7948.
