7th person arrested in Break Time shooting death

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) -- Columbia police said they have arrested a seventh suspect in the shooting death of a cousin of a Missouri football player.

Police said Lee Wyatt Carter, 23, was arrested Tuesday in the Oct. 23 robbery and murder of Aaron Hobson, 22. Hobson was killed Oct. 23 in the parking lot of the Break Time Convenience Store in Columbia.

Police said Hobson and a passenger were approached by several black males who demanded the victim's money.

Carter is being held at the Boone County Jail on $1 million bond.

Hobson was the cousin of Trey Hobson, a defensive back with the Missouri Tigers, and he was in Columbia for the game against Oklahoma.
