Thu, 19 Sep 2013 14:05:22 GMT — The Missouri Valley Big Brothers - Big Sisters is in the middle of their "60 Bigs in 60 Days" campaign. The program matches adults, or "bigs" with children ages six to seventeen, "littles", who need some extra support and encouragement. "Big" Denny Atwell and his â??little brotherâ??, Lamont, have some advice for those looking to take part in the program. "Well for the kids out there who want a big brother, I think they should talk to their parents about it because it's a great thing to have because they can teach you anything you wanna know," Atwell said. The Missouri Valley Big Brothers Big Sisters serves more than 250 children a year. They have 120 active members, but there are close to 60 kids waiting to make a match with a big brother or big sister.
