A Camdenton man died Wednesday in the water at the Lake of the Ozarks.
The Highway Patrol said it happened near a boat dock at the Atlantis Island Rentals in Rocky Mount.
At 11:40 Wednesday morning a witness reported seeing a man working by a dock when he went under the water and didn't resurface.
A dive team found the body of 33-year-old Timothy Walter around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Walter's job was building and maintaining docks and Highway Patrol believes he was working at the time of his death.
The Patrol is now handling the investigation.
An autopsy is pending, and Highway Patrol Trooper Darrin Haslag said they are unsure if any health-related problems contributed to the death.
He did say, however, that electricity from the docks is not believed to be a factor.
