      3 men sentenced on child porn charges

      Three Columbia men were sentenced on child pornography charges. The cases were heard Monday in Boone County Circuit Court.25-year-old Ryan Michael Meyer, of the 900 block of Woodrow Street, plead guilty to the possession of child pornography. Meyer was sentenced to 6 years in prison. Police say this investigation began in mid-September 2011 when a Boone County Sheriff TMs Department Cyber Crimes Task Force detective identified a computer offering child pornography though a file sharing program. Officers said, a very large amount, possibly hundreds, of child pornography videos were located on the suspect TMs computer. Children in the videos include children believed to be between the ages of 8 years and early teens.26-year-old Ansel Lenser, of Claudell Lane, was sentenced to five years in prison.Police say the investigation surrounding Lenser began in Mid-November 2010, when a Task Force investigator identified a home computer network offering child pornography through a file sharing program.In December during a search warrant, two computers were seized. Subsequent examination of these computers located approximately 17 photographs and 13 videos showing the sexual molestation of children some believed to be as young as three to five years of age.He plead guilty on October 11, 2011 to the possession of child pornography. 27-year-old Joel Wesley Florence, who is believed to now live in the Franklin County, Missouri area but did reside on West Bethany in Columbia, received a seven year prison sentence and placed on five years probation.This resulting from an investigation that began in late January 2011. At that time a Task Force Detective identified a home computer network offering to disseminate child pornography through file sharing programs. The Task Force Detective downloaded four video files that showed the sexual molestation of pre-pubescent children.On February 17, 2011 Task Force investigators consisting of investigators from the Boone County Sheriff TMs Department, University of Missouri Police Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, served a court ordered search warrant at the residence in question. Subsequently investigators located a computer containing numerous videos depicting the sexual molestation of pre-pubescent children.
