Two Columbia men will spend 10 years in federal prison for their roles in a drug-trafficking operation.

Arthur Rainey Jr. and Thomas Stevens, both 25 years-old years old, were sentenced Thursday in federal court.

Rainey and Stevens pleaded guilty to participating to distributing cocaine, crack cocaine, ecstasy and methamphetamine in Boone County.

Columbia Police arrested the two after being called to their home because of a burglar alarm.

A judge also ruled that Rainey and Stevens will forfeit nearly $34,000 in cash officers found hidden in their apartment.
