The Total Solar Eclipse attracted visitors to mid-Missouri from not only across the country, but across the world.

Manuel Piaggo traveled from Italy with his girlfriend to watch the solar eclipse from Gans Creek Park in Columbia.

This is not Piaggo's first solar eclipse, but his second in his lifetime. Piaggo believes that solar eclipse events are worth traveling for.

"The solar eclipse is inspiring, amazing, and so unreal," Piaggo said.

While Piaggo was one of the furthest tourists from home, Gans Creek was filled with other eclipse travelers from Israel, Norway, and Australia.
